At the start of 2024, Stake.com announced a Formula 1 sponsorship deal with Swiss-based motorsport company Sauber for two years. As the Formula 1 season ended on December 8 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, it’s time to look back and evaluate Stake.com’s achievements in the motorsport betting market. Stake’s Formula 1 team stood in 9th place in the final winners’ list among the ten teams that participated in Formula 1 2024.
Stake Expands F1 Betting Suite
However, Stake.com used its status of being the title sponsor of Sauber’s F1 team to expand and strengthen its motorsport betting suite. Now, it offers enhanced betting features, including live streaming of F1 races. Its social media handles promote the events by showcasing many betting opportunities. The newly-launched Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber’s X handle has secured 1.5 million followers in less than a year.

$50 Million F1 Power Play
In the enhanced betting options, Stake.com offers the opportunity to wager on race winners, podium finishes, fastest lap times, head-to-head driver battles, and even season-long championship outcomes.
After a successful sponsorship deal with Sauber in 2023, Stake secured the title sponsorship for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, reportedly for $50 million annually. This partnership led to the rebranding of the team as Stake F1 Team.
Additionally, Stake’s streaming platform, Kick, has secured the naming rights for Sauber’s 2024 car, the Kick Sauber C44. This new car boasts significant design changes, including a switch to pull-rod suspension, revised aerodynamics, and a promise of further updates early in the season. The Stake F1 brand got a boost with a striking lime green livery-colored racing car, a stark departure from the red and black colors of the previous season.
